A new Moonfall clip shows the Earth’s last heroes heading to space in a shuttle with major issues. Will they make it into orbit?

Director Roland Emmerich’s resume includes both Independence Day movies, and bad movie gems like 2012, The Day After Tomorrow, White House Down, and 1998’s Godzilla.

In his latest disaster movie, Moonfall, a blob-shaped space terror attacks a group of astronauts in the first scene. When the survivors make it back to Earth they have to convince those in power that the moon is no longer where it should be and the start of the end of the world is coming.

It’s out this weekend– so how about one more Moonfall clip before you hit the theater?

Moonfall Official Synopsis

A mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it. With mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler is convinced she has the key to saving us all – but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman believes her.

These unlikely heroes will mount an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love, only to find out that our Moon is not what we think it is.
