With a new movie coming up Nicolas Cage took to Reddit and did a great AMA. He talks about movies, hobbies, his fans, and bees.

Nicolas Cage has made some genuinely great movies (he’s an Oscar winner, after all) and one that is so perfect it has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. He’s long been a fan favorite, no matter how outlandish his performance. Cage’s career has hit nearly every genre of movie from horror to rom-com to action and sci-fi. His offscreen exploits are just as zany.

The man is a bit of a Hollywood legend.

Recently, Cage took to Reddit to answer questions about movies namely but chose to address all sorts of things. Among the many questions about what he wants to do in the future, he mentioned wanting to work with Ari Aster, Christopher Nolan, Robert Eggers, and Spike Lee. His dream role is playing Jules Verne’s Captain Nemo. The actor’s picks for movies he can watch over and over without getting bored: Apocalypse Now and Spirited Away.

When asked if only three of his films could be preserved for posterity which would he pick, he responded with Bringing Out the DeadPig, and Leaving Las Vegas.

The job proves to be more complex when the CIA gets involved. It also stars Pedro Pascal as superfan Javi Gutierrez; plus Neil Patrick Harris, and Tiffany Haddish. The movie hits theaters on April 22.
