With the arrival of Arks of Omen: Farsight it seems that the final card portent has been laid. What could it all mean?

Games Workshop appears to have put the capstone on the Arks of Omen event with Arks of Omen: Farsight. They’ve confirmed that the Emperor’s Tarot cards are done being teased as well. They have released a supercut video of all the cards, but without the audio.

I do find it a little ironic they titled the video “The Full Reading” without including any dialogue from the reading. So we’re going to add the text transcriptions of all the cards below in order.

Arks of Omen Supercut

(I – Galaxy )

The Galaxy burns in the fire of ambition.

Another round of the great game begins.

(II – The Despoiler)

Venom in his hearts and blood on his blades.

What new darkness does he bring?

Ahh…The Silver Key

New doorways

New paths

New possibilities

A blood red tide of singing blades

Led by…

The future reeks of cataclysm

Malignancy bleeds through

From one world into the next

(X – Astartes)

And here stand the Angels of Death

Bloodied

But unbroken

(XI – The Lightning Tower)

A great war

Fire and wrath unleash on sacred rock

(XII – Daemons (Inversed))

And yet chaos is fickle

Forever turning upon itself

(XIII – The Horde)

A horde descends

Scarlet and crimson souls

Blood drunk, blood maddened

Flooding the galaxy

(XIV – The Young Warrior)

And a light gutters in the endless black

It may scourge the red tide

It may drown beneath its waves

(XV- The Fool)

Yet here a change in spirit

From fury to serenity?

I cannot say

I cannot yet see

(XVI – The Tree of Life)

But hope blooms

In the garden of lost souls

And burning stars

(XVII – The Lost Child)

And here

A fatherless son

Alone in the endless night

(XVIII – The Star)

As wars rage

Beneath the gaze

Of a newborn star

(XIX – The Knight)

He stands defiant

His blade reflecting the light

Of a poison sky

(XX – Galaxy (Inversed))

But everything will change

Reality bleeds

Destiny sickens

The galaxy grows dark

And darker still

We’ve got notes and some theories on this reading and what it could be referencing. While Arks of Omen: Farsight isn’t technically out until this weekend, we’re also going to take a guess that some of the references in this prophecy are related to whatever announcements are going to happen tonight at Adepticon. Specifically the last and final verse. There’s also some speculation on if the The Knight could be referencing someone else’s arrival, too.

Dante was probably slated for a reveal at Adepticon but that got spoiled earlier. And there’s also the Tyranid/Terminator teasers. Personally, I’m really looking forward to just getting on with the announcements and reveals at this point. This has been quite the build-up and I hope whatever GW has planned really delivers.

The Arks of Omen teasers are over…for now.
